Meet Fenrir: The Unbound Bruiser-Assassin

Fenrir is a Physical Melee god classified as a Bruiser/Assassin. While some players may debate his “bruiser” status, his unique abilities and powerful runes make him a versatile choice for diving into battles and taking down vulnerable enemies. Fenrir thrives as both a frontline initiator and a stealthy assassin, making him dangerous in one-on-one encounters and team fights alike.

Fenrir’s Abilities

Unbound Runes (Passive)

Every Basic Attack grants Fenrir a rune (up to 5). When at max runes, his next ability gains an extra effect, and all runes are consumed. Nearby enemy god deaths reset his runes to maximum, fueling his relentless attacks.

Unchained

Fenrir leaps at his target, dealing damage and halving the cooldown if he hits an enemy god. At max runes, Unchained stuns enemies for one second — perfect for initiation or escape.

Seething Howl

Fenrir’s steroid ability boosts his Physical Power and provides lifesteal, making him a resilient Bruiser. At max runes, both effects are increased by 50%, enhancing his staying power and damage output.

Brutalize

Fenrir pounces on an enemy and deals a rapid succession of four strikes. When used with max runes, Brutalize inflicts 75% of its damage on nearby enemies, turning him into a clearing machine.

Ragnarok (Ultimate)

Fenrir grows in size, gains CC immunity, and increases his movement speed. A bite attack on an enemy god lets him drag them for up to 2 seconds. With max runes, Fenrir’s protections are doubled, making him a tanky nightmare.

Playing Fenrir: The Way of the Wolf

As Fenrir, your goal is to disrupt the enemy team and pick off high-value targets. Start off in the left lane and grab a red buff to capitalize on your early-game power. In the jungle, keep farming camps, watching for respawns every 4 minutes to stay strong throughout the mid-game. Roam the map and target squishier opponents like carries or mages for maximum impact.

During team fights, use Ragnarok to single out priority targets like mages or assassins. When your ultimate is down, use Brutalize from the jungle to secure kills and leap to safety.

Fenrir’s lifesteal keeps him alive in skirmishes, but play cautiously — you’re a damage-dealing bruiser, not a full tank. When mastered, Fenrir becomes a high-mobility, high-damage threat, able to swing team fights with a well-timed kill.
